Lenovo Z2 Plus Smartphone Launched in India At Rs 17,999

Lenovo today introduced its Z2 Plus smartphone at a price of Rs 17,999. The device will be available exclusively on its e-commerce partner 'Amazon'. The Z2 Plus is just the rebranded version of the ZUK Z2 smartphone, which was launched in China earlier. The phone will be on an open sale starting September 27, 2016.

Lenovo had earlier introduced its first smartphone under its online-only ZUK branding, dubbed as ZUK Z1, at a price of Rs 13,499.

The Lenovo Z2 Plus will feature a 5-inch Full HD display along with a 13-megapixel f/2.2 rear camera with EIS and PDAF. For selfies, the device will offer an 8-megapixel f/2.2 front camera. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, the device will be available in two memory capacities — 3GB RAM/32GB (Rs 17,999) internal memory and 4GB RAM/64GB (Rs 19,999) inbuilt storage.

Both the variants offer two nano-SIM card slots with support for 4G connectivity on the primary slot. The smartphone is backed by a 3,500mAh battery with support for fast charging and features USB Type-C port. The device also comes with India-centric smart health features along with a fingerprint scanner.
