Lenovo on Tuesday launched the Yoga
Pro 'ultrabook' notebook in India, with
prices starting from Rs. 1,14,990. The
successor to the Yoga 2 Pro, the Yoga 3
Pro was first launched in October in the
US, starting from $1,349.99
(approximately Rs. 82,500).

In India, the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro will be
exclusively available via the Lenovo
Smart Connected Devices store
(thedostore.com), and select Croma retai
outlets across the country.

Alongside, Lenovo has also brought the
tablet it launched at CES , the Lenovo
Tab 2 A7-30 , to India at Rs. 8,500 for
the 2G variant, and Rs. 11,800 for the
3G variant. The device was launched
alongside the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10 at
CES, but already made its way to India
last month at Rs. 4,999.

Starting with the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, the
ultrabook features Lenovo's signature
360-degree hinge design concept, taken
from its predecessor the Yoga 2 Pro.
Lenovo says that the new Yoga 3 Pro
has also got a 17 percent slimmer frame
at 12.8mm than the Yoga 2 Pro and
weighs 14 percent less as well, at
1.19kg.

Upfront, the Yoga 3 Pro comes with
13.3-inch QHD+ (3200x1800 pixels)
display with Corning Gorilla Glass
protection. It runs on an Intel Core
M-5Y70 Processor (2 cores, 4 threads,
1.10GHz base clock, 2.6GHz turbo clock,
4MB cache), with Intel HD Graphics
5300.

The device comes with Windows 8.1 64-
bit or Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit operating
system options, with 8GB of DDR3L
1600MHz RAM, a choice of a 256GB or
512GB SSD, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth
v4.0, and a 4-cell 44.8 Watt hour Li-
polymer battery.

Coming to the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30, the
tablet device runs Android 4.4 KitKat out
of-the-box. It features a 7-inch display
with 1024x600pixel resolution
translating to a pixel density of 170ppi.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 is powered by
a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8382
processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The
device packs a 2-megapixel rear camera
and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing
camera.

As for the storage, the Lenovo Tab 2
A7-30 offers 16GB of inbuilt storage,
which is further expandable via microSD
card (up to 32GB). Also, Lenovo has
added Dolby sound technology in the
tablet speakers. The Lenovo Tab 2
A7-30 measures 190.5x104.1x9.3mm
and weighs 269 grams.
