Lenovo has announced that it will continue selling both Motorola and Lenovo brands in the Indian market. According to a senior executive at Lenovo, the Chinese company is in the process of identifying markets where only one brand will be sold.

According to an ET report, Head of worldwide sales at Motorola Mobility, Colin Giles said, "Depending on the market, we are identifying which brand is more suitable for which market. However, in a market like India where we've had very good success for Lenovo and Motorola, we believe we will be able to sustain both." He also claimed that North American countries like the US will get only Motorola smartphones whereas certain Asian nations will get only Lenovo devices.

It is likely that the only two markets where Lenovo will sell Motorola as well as Lenovo smartphones will be China and India.

To recap things, Lenovo acquired Motorola Mobility from Google in the month of October. Giles also said that Lenovo has integrated the manufacturing, supply chain operations of both the companies and is working to also combine back end operations.

Good, they should continue selling Moto phones in India. I am using Moto G 2014, and I love it!
