Lenovo launches an 8-inch voice-calling table A8-50 for Rs 17,999

Lenovo has launched its latest A series tablet which will feature voice-calling functionality. Dubbed as Lenovo A8-50, the 8-inch tablet will cost Rs 17,999 and will be selling on Lenovo’s official
store as well as third-party online
retailers.

The Lenovo A8-50 comes with an 8-inch display with 1280×800 pixel resolution with 10-point multi-touch.

It will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor sporting MediaTek MT8382 SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM.

It will come with a single micro-SIM slot for voice calling.
On the storage front, the A8-50 boasts of 16GB internal storage with the facility to upgrade it to 32GB using a microSD card.

The tablet will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS which is upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat. It comes with a 5MP fixed focus rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera.

As far as connectivity goes, the A8-50 will include 3G, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE, FM radio and microUSB port.
It comes with a 4400mAh Li-Polymer battery which is rated to give 11 hours of usage time
and 20 days of standby time.

You can get the tablet from Lenovo’s official store in four different colours. You can also buy it from Flipkart from Rs 17,490 onwards
