Lenovo K6 Note with 5.5 inch FHD Display and 4,000mAh Battery Launched Starting at Rs 13,999

The Lenovo K6 Note sports similar metal unibody design like the recently launched K6 Power. It goes without saying that the K6 Note has a bigger footprint than its smaller sibling, all thanks to phablet like display. In fact, the Lenovo K6 Note features a similar 5.5 inch Full HD display like its predecessor with the only difference being in the display technology. It apparently misses out on the LTPS display technology found in the last generation smartphone.

Under the hood, the Lenovo K6 Note packs a Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor with eight Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz each. This is coupled with Adreno 505 GPU and 32GB of internal storage. That aside, the Lenovo K6 Note comes in two variants – 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM. It worth noting that internal storage remains the same for both the variant. Apart from that, you can always expand the internal memory the smartphone by making use of a MicroSD card slot. The Snapdragon chip inside the Lenovo phablet is a marked upgrade over Mediatek touting predecessor.

Talking of optics, the Lenovo K6 Note features an improved 16MP rear shooter with Phase Detection Autofocus Sensor (PDAF) and Dual Tone Dual LED flash. Just for stats, the last generation Lenovo K5 Note came with a 13MP f/2.2 shooter. Apart from the rear snapper, the Lenovo K6 Note sports an 8MP front snapper which is capable of shooting wide angle selfies. Powering, the Lenovo K6 Note is 4,000mAh Li-Poly battery which will possibly last you through a day of heavy to moderate use.

The dual SIM phablet comes with support for 4G VoLTE and runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 with the company’s own Vibe UI on top. The Lenovo K6 Note comes in three colors namely Silver, Gold and Gray and will go on sale in India via offline stores starting December 17. As for the pricing, the 3GB RAM variant of the K6 Note is priced at Rs 13,999 while the 4GB RAM variant cost slightly more at Rs 15,499.

Looks much similar to Redmi Note 3.

I think its overpriced with Snapdragon 430 processor. Redmi Note 3 gives Snapdragon 650 at much lower price point

Vibe UI is another minus. MIUI is better than it.

Lenovo launches K6 Note for offline market, to increase presence in offline retail

Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo will begin selling K6 Note in the brick-and-mortar stores this week onwards, priced at Rs 13,999, while it plans to expand presence in the offline space which still makes up to two-thirds of the Indian handset market.

The company will expand retail footprints in 350 tier 1 and 2 cities to reach out to a larger set of consumers.

“Different entertains better and that’s why we’ve introduced the Lenovo K6 Note,” Sudhin Mathur, Executive Director, Lenovo Mobile Business Group, India said.

“We are also introducing the K Series for the 1st time in offline retail channel to ensure that a larger set of our consumers can enjoy the best multimedia immersive smartphone experience,” he added.

Although Lenovo had been selling its brand of phones in the offline market prior to acquiring Motorola, it started launching exclusive online models from Diwali 2015.

The Lenovo K6 Note will be available in two variants - 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, in dark grey, gold and silver colours, across 15,000 retail stores. Consumers can also avail 0% interest EMI offers from Bajaj Finance and Home Credit.
