Lenovo A6600 budget Android smartphone launched at Rs 6,999...
NEW DELHI: According to a report by Phone Radar website, Lenovo has silently launched its entry level smartphone - A6600, in India. The report further suggests that the device is available on offline retail outlets at a price tag of Rs 6,999. However, the company has not yet made any official announcement about the device.
The Lenovo A6600 features a 5-inch HD display of 720x1280 pixel resolution and runs Android. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. There's 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB by using microSD cards. A 2,300mAh battery rounds off the spec sheet.
Apart from this, Lenovo will also be launching its Z2 Plus smartphone in India this month. The company has posted a teaser of the same on Twitter, showing a smartphone with a caption that reads, "Impatience is a Virtue and #FastForward".
The Lenovo Z2 Plus will likely have specifications similar to that of the Zuk Z2, which was launched in China back in May.
For those unaware, the Zuk Z2 has a 5-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15GHz.
The Zuk Z2 has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It comes with dual nano-sim support and sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, along with an 8MP front-facing shooter for selfies. There's also a fingerprint sensor and a 3,500mAh battery included.
