LeEco has announced that it has sold content worth Rs 320 million worth in just 29 minutes on the first flash sale of its Le 1s Eco smartphone that comes bundled with its content ecosystem. The phone that was launched earlier this month was sold at an introductory price of Rs. 9999 in the first sale and also comes bundled with LeEco membership program worth Rs 4900.

Its membership offer includes Levidi and LIVE services with content powered by Eros Now and YuppTV. LeMusic powered by Hungama will be available in Q3. It also offered 10% cashback for HDFC credit and debit card holders and offered an exclusive back cover along with each phone as part of promotional offer. Le 1s Eco received over 1,00,000 registrations on Flipkart in the first 24 hours.

Commenting on the new milestone, Atul Jain, COO, Smart Electronics Business, LeEco India said: We are immensely proud to be creating new industry records with our Superphones and thrilled to have done it this time with our content membership program. LeEco has also announced its advertising partnership with Twitter. LeEco said that it is the one of the first brands from China to get access to First View, a new video-based advertising product from Twitter that helps marketers achieve significant audience reach with exclusive ownership of Twitter’s most valuable advertising real estate for a 24-hour period.

Brian Hui, Head of North America Operations at LeEco, said: From streaming entertainment to smartphones to smart televisions to cars and more, LeEco’s global vision of an internet ecosystem-powered future connects everything that matters to our consumers and partners. Having seen success using Twitter to power our brand in India, we look forward to expanding our global presence through this partnership with Twitter.
