LeEco entered into the Indian market earlier this year with the launch of Le 1s and Le Max smartphones in the country that were launched exclusively on Flipkart. It recently unveiled Le 2 , Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 smartphones at an event in China that are expected to launch in India soon. Now the company has renewed its exclusive partnership with Flipkart that was signed off by Atul Jain COO Smart Electronics Business on behalf of LeEco and Flipkart.
LeEco said that it sold 400,000 units of Le 1s and Le Max smartphones in a short time period. The company did not say if it is planning to launch all the smartphones in the country. LeEco has scheduled an event in Mumbai on May 3rd with entertainment in focus.
Commenting on the partnership, Atul Jain, COO – Smart Electronic Business, LeEco India, said:
