NEW DELHI: Chinese Internet ecosystem company LeEco will begin selling the Le Max 2 on Amazon and Snapdeal from October 1, as it expands its online presence.
The handset maker will now have four online platforms to sell its phones from, including its former exclusive partner Flipkart and its own e-commerce portal LeMall.
"We're now expanding our online presence to reach out to more customers," said Atul Jain, COO of smartphones at LeEco.
"We're expecting sales to rise a 100% with this expansion, just before the festive season sales begin," he added.
Amazon's Great Indian Sale begins on October 1, while Flipkart's Big Billion Day begins the dat after. On both platforms, LeEco will offer the Le Max 2 at discounted price of Rs 17,999, through open sale. The phone was launched at 22,999 in June end.
The company is already expanding its presence in the offline space, with targets of selling through 8,000 outlets by the year-end. It has tied up with six large format retailers including Sangeetha Mobiles and Poorvika.
LeEco partners with Snapdeal, Amazon | ET Telecom
