Chinese internet technology conglomerate LeEco in its first Diwali sales organized in October earned revenue of Rs 350 crores with the sale of 300,000 Superphones and 3500 Super TVs, the company said in a statement on Friday.
LeEco had participated in the online sales organised by LeMall, Amazon India, Flipkart and Snapdeal. The company also introduced a new experiental price of Rs 17,999 for their flagship Superphone – Le Max2.
“We are humbled with the growth and momentum that we have seen in the Indian market in just one year. During the festive season it was our endeavor to offer a great value proposition to our customers which will enable them in experiencing our products," Atul Jain, COO, Smart Electronics BusinessEco India, said.
Disruptive price points for the technology that LeEco offers is a reason for the received response, the company said. LeEco products come with LeEco Supertainment Membership that consists of entertainment channels like Eros Now, YuppTV and Hungama in India through which users can get access to a collection of 2000+ movies, inclusive of premieres from Hollywood & Bollywood. LeEco membership programme also provides 3000+ hours of curated shows, 100+ Live TV channels and 3.5 million songs of users’ choices
