NEW DELHI : Chinese internet conglomerate LeEco today launched three Android Lollipop-based smartTVs with 4K resolution in its Super3 series in India at a starting price of Rs 59,790. With this launch, LeEco has become the latest to join the affordable smartTV market to compete with the likes of Vu, Micromax and others.
The LeEco Super3 televisions are available in two screen sizes — 55-inch and 65-inch. There are two models with 65-inch screen size — LeTV Super3 65 and LeTV Super3 Max65 — and are priced at Rs 99,790 and Rs 1,49,790. Both LeTV Super3 65 and LeTV Super3 Max65 come with 1.4GHz quad-core A17 CPU with a quad-core Mali T760 GPU. On the imaging front, both models are powered by professional Novatek FRP chip along with MACE-PRO4 image engine. On the memory front, the TVs offer 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM. Other specifications include 802.11ac dual Wi-Fi, Android Lollipop-based EUI5.5 TV with support for LeEcosystem.
Both the 65-inch models look similar and sports a metal body with narrow bezel. On the audio front, the LeTV Super3 65 houses 2.1 stereo speakers with a maximum output of 20W while the expensive LeTV Super3 Max65 offers double power at 40W.
The low-end 55-inch LeTV Super3 55 is priced at Rs 59,790. It also offers 4K resolution and is powered by Android Lollipop-based EUI5.5 TV with support for LeEcosystem.
Other specifications include 1.4GHz quad-core A17 CPU, quad-core Mali T760 GPU, MACE-PRO4 image engine, 2GB RAM, 8GB ROM, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.
