NEW DELHI: Handset maker LAVAInternational on Tuesday launched its ‘Design in India’ initiative and has planned investment of Rs 2600 crores over the next 5-7 years for manufacturing. The company has further planned investment of Rs 250 crores by 2021 dedicated to design.
LAVA which has a manufacturing capacity of 30 lakh units per month currently is aiming to increase it to 1.2 crores handsets per month in the period of 5-7 years.
