Lava today launched a new smartphone called the Lava A82 . The smartphone is priced at Rs 5,299 and is exclusively available online via TataCliQ.com which is Tata Group’s new e-commerce venture, and across retail and multi-brand handset outlets. The smartphone is available in blue, white and gold color variants.
Lava A82 specifications and features :
The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM. The smartphone also offers 8GB of internal memory which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the camera front the smartphone comes with 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera with front LED flash and Digital Zoom. The rear camera supports features like HDR and Photo Timer Grid. The Lava A82 is equipped with 2,000mAh battery and comes with connectivity options likes Wi-Fi-, dual-SIM, Bluetooth and GPS. On the software front the smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Of late several entry-level smartphones have been launched with 4G LTE support, something which is missing in the new Lava smartphone. Lava’s A-series have been a mixture of 3G-only phones as well as 4G enabled smartphones. But recently Lava seems to be in a sphere of launching 3G only phones like the Lava A67 and Lava A79.
The smartphone will face tough competitions in the likes of Micromax Canvas Spark 3 3G , Intex Cloud Fame and Reliance Digital Flame 3 .
