Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has announced that it is currently rolling out a software update for One (M9) smartphone, which brings camera and battery life improvements.
According to the company, the update has already been released in select Asian markets and is currently being rolled out in Europe. Other regions will get the update in the coming weeks.
As per a blog postby the company, the One (M9) users can expect to see better auto-exposure, and improved low-light images after the update. The software upgrade will also enhance the overall battery life and improve the smart charging.Detailed change-log below.
Imaging improvements
*.Greater auto-exposure balance algorithm to improve overall dynamic range, so images appear more detailed and balanced, especially in bright light conditions
*.Additional improvements for pictures taken in low light, so images are clearer, detail is more apparent, and colors appear truer to life
Battery Life & Charging
*.Overall improvements to battery life, which reduce power consumption by YouTube, Facebook, and other popular social apps like Skype and Google Hangouts, so you can watch more videos or have video chats with your loved ones for longer periods of time
