KitKat Phone Costs Just Rs. 2,799

Adcom on Tuesday launched the A35smartphone with Android 4.4 KitKat in India, priced at Rs. 2,799 with an MRP of Rs. 4,000.

The smartphone is yet-to-be-listed on the company's website, but is listedon exclusive online retailer Homeshop 18 with an October 3 availability.

The smartphone will later be made available via other online retailers.

The dual-SIM AdcomA35 features a 3.5-inch HVGA (320x480 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz processor (unspecified) alongside 256MB of RAM.

Running on Android4.4.2 KitKat, the budget smartphone sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash, while it also houses a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The A35 includes 512MB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

While the measurements and the weight of the smartphone are not yet known, the handset packs an 1400mAh li-ion battery. It also features gravity and proximity sensors which consume less battery when compared to conventional sensors, according to the company.

The A35 comes with 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB connectivity options. It will be available in Black, White, Yellow and Red colour variants. The smartphone would also come with a free screen guard worth Rs. 399.

Notably, Adcom announcedits first Android KitKat powered smartphone, the Thunder A440+, earlier this month at Rs. 3,499.
