Jio started asking customes for Aadhaar based e-KYC (numbers took before 5/9/16)

Jio started asking customes for Aadhaar based E-KYC for numbers took before 5/9/16.

I got the number by giving Voter ID that time hence received message while number taken through Aadhaar e-KYC received no such messages.

Received text today and linked by visiting nearest Jio store.

Atleast they did in first go, unlike airtel whose dumbos asked me to come 3 times before linking and kept saying link down blah blah..!

Even Vodafone has been asking for the same from me. Otherwise my number will be deactivated, they are saying.

Message came few days ago. I posted it in the general discussion thread. BTW, I did the aadhar verification already and still got the message. So that's not the criteria I guess.

Aadhar linking with mobile number is mandatory due to SC verdict.

Yes. Some users complained the same. So must be different criteria.

No bro, just a plain message asking me to walk in to a near by Jio Store. But I can see my aadhar is already there in My Jio app under my account.
