One of my friends has got an Annual Premium subscription of JioHotstar as complimantary... he did not have any subscription with JioCinema or Hotstar prior to this.. he doesn't have any subscription through broadband/mobile recharge as well.. #Lucky

Jio is using it's AI algorithms to differentiate between a user who was already a paying subscriber and is likely to keep paying for service going forward and one who wasn't paying but can be made accustomed to the service by offering it for free initially and then starting to charge for it.
This is also why we are seeing differential discounts being offered to individual subscribers based on their usage pattern rather than tweaking the existing subscription plans across the board.

Jio cinema used to eat more data in comparison to hotstar earlier as well bro

I think Jiocinema content not moved to hotstar servers and hotstar getting it through JioCinema servers using api or anything else.

I think they used colors brand only here... because everything under star and jio brand jiostar , jiohotstar , even colors channels also under star india private limited.. they mentioned colors 1st but while seeing the content star serial 1st next colors next star next colors like this order they arranged
