Japan Habba Bangalore 2021 - this year would be conducted virtually (online) due to covid on 20,21 & 27,28 February on two weekends .

every year they used to conduct the japanese fest event near iisc , bangalore

This year 2021 event's theme is of Hikari (light ) dispelling the Darkness

Japan Habba Karaoke Contest - event on Feb 20th , 11:30- 1:30 pm IST

final submission form was on 7th February. The contest will be held live and the performance will be live-streamed on the actual day. Indian Citizens have to sing compulsorily in Japenese song , and japenese participants must perform Indian song (Hindi or kannada etc)

final submission - feb 15th , 2021 . the partici[ants would be given on the spot short passages which they have to read.

Online Tsubasa (Free Reading Contest ) - inclide own written japenese article , poem , short passage etc . video length should of 5 min long . Event on feb 20th

Japan Habba Anime Quiz 2021 - Animathon Online Quiz - Vol 3 first time virtual - first time collaborated with Animaniax - Anime club of IISC Bangalore - (biggest Indian Anime Quiz )- Event on 20th February from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm
Anime Quiz is resticted to individual participants . both prelim & final round for participants would be conducted on discord and spectators can watch in YouTube.

Japan Habba 2021 -Open Japan Quiz - Team Quiz Event - contains two or more rounds - for a. japanese culture - food , tourism , cultural norms & practices b. Japanese Language - kanji , grammar etc c. japanese pop culture - music , tv , movies, anime & manga etc

This time they are introducing PepaKura - Japan Habba Themed Papercraft Workshop (Online Workshop) only 10 live interactive participants they have to register in link the workshop would be done using Google Meets App - they will be given meeting link two days before meeting. Participants is for 13 age and more as it involves scissors . Participants will be taught to make Japanese style -papercraft diya (lamp) by Indian resident who - origami master by Shri Padma -San . (San word is used as respect for elders in Japanese & chan is used for small kids )
All other spectators could watch livestream of workshop in YouTube channel or in fb.

things to be kept for workshop beside for participants - two A4 size paper of two sheets of different colours ( of any colour) , scissors, scale, pencil, toothpick, cello tape, glue and scraps of white , red and yellow paper for flame .

Intercultural Shutterbug Online Contest (First japan habba Photography Contests ) , for particpate have to share clicked in Instagram with hashtag mentioned the post , they have two themes to celebrate each others cultures , for indian nationals - it is "Japan" , for japenese nationals it is "India" . they need to upload photos they took and upload with hashtag mention in post #JH etc , the no. of likes ones photograph gets is the the number of score so they are suggesting to share photos with their friends and families to get more likes.

Day 2 Japan Habba 2021 live stream link - they'll keep till some days and them make it private afterwards when event finishes they will upload separate videos on their YouTube channel.

Open japan Quiz event was good , this time compared to discord audience could answer in live chat though they didn't have much audience quiz questions this time compared to anime quiz.

Stamp rally quiz for day 2 they asked 10 questions where they showed question related to event and MCQ answer we had to send the answer the MCQ to he phone no. through WhatsApp

other two days event they'll ask 10 question each on 27th & 28th who gets more points will get chance to prize one of it is manga's .they ask in between live event within some time limit have to send answers to the no. mentioned in quiz

They concluded day two by two Indian cosplayers playing live persona 5 . you might be wondering why it didnt have or video kind of blurring type they ended up having copy right strike while playing it during livestreaming though they managed to save some of the video.
