You should be crazy if you're supporting such a toxic owner. KL in IPL has done much better than India. Also it's my favourite team and I'm sharing opinion about my team what's your problem?

RCB is my favourite team as well. But you need him as a opener. Not in middle order. He opened in test cricket and scored centuries. Toughest place to bat in England. Both in 2018 and 2021. Even Gambhir and Gill haven't done that. And he wants to bat in middle order? Why? Goenka is right in a way. He is creating pressure on other players. Play at opening and as a captain you should be releasing pressure from other players. If DeCock is playing aggressively doesn't mean you should hold one end. See Cummins has given licence to kill to both Head, Sharma and Klassen and Nitish. Even after that dismissal in final, Cummins consoled Abhishek. Rahul is lost case. This is last make or break season for him. He doesn't perform then he will dropped from Indian team as well. Same with Iyer and Kohli. Let's see what happens. Middle order is packed. Patidar is best suited to take on spinner. Why do you want to change that by pushing Rahul in middle order? Chinnaswamy is mostly flattest pitches for IPL along with Eden Gardens. You need to make that count. RCB just need keeper batsman who can either bat at opening or number five.

Best to worst retentions according to me:

1. SRH: No brainer. Above MI because they managed to convince NKR at 6cr
2. MI: No brainer
3. KKR: Saved thanks to Russell retention, but they have managed to pay their players less while still having to reduce the purse according to the official slabs
4. GT: They only had Gill and Rashid as noteworthy players to retain, adding Sudarshan solidifies their top order and the uncapped players provide a good middle order
5. RCB: They retained their best 3 Indian players from last season while also going into the auction with a hefty purse
6. DC: Letting Pant go was a big mistake, still have a lot of holes to fill with their purse marginally less than RCB.
7. PBKS: They had no one to retain, so retaining the uncapped players who performed makes sense.
8. LSG: They have injury prone players as retentions
9. CSK: Despite having a core, they retained 2 retired players, one of which hasn't performed in 2024. One of their retentions is injury prone, while the other has managed to get his weakness exposed now.
10. RR: No debate on this. They would've been at the top if it was just Samson, Jaiswal, Parag, Sandeep. The last minute 2 additions see them placed here...

I think they should think likes of KL/Pant/Kishan as wk and DDP will be opener. 1 fast allrounder like sam curren/ben stokes and chahal and Josh hezalwood. Then the team looks like:

1 young finisher like Shahbaz or lomror
Dayal
Siraj (RTM)
Hazelwood
Chahal

With DDP and kohli, they will eat full 10 overs and score 60 runs
