Intex launches Cloud X1+ and Cloud Y11 Android phones

Intex has announced the launch of Cloud Y11 and Cloud X1+ Android smartphones in the Indian market. Targeted to the entry-level smartphones buyers, the Cloud Y11 and Cloud X1+ have been priced at INR 4,490 and INR 2,990 respectively.

“Cloud X1+ and Y11 are specially designed for first-time smartphone users who want to do away with their feature phones. These devices come embedded with advanced features to enhance the user’s overall experience of a smartphone. These phones are a perfect blend of style and technology at rock- bottom price,” said Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Business Head of the Mobile vertical at Intex.

Talking about Intex Cloud X1+, the phone features 3.5-inch HVGA display, Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, 1GHz processor and just 128MB of RAM. It also packs 2MP rear camera, 256MB of internal storage, 1250 mAh battery, Wi-Fi and 2G support. Just 128MB of RAM, what are you thinking Intex?

Coming to Intex Cloud Y11, the phone comes with 4-inch WVGA display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 256MB RAM and 512MB of on-board storage. The phone also includes 3G support, Wi-Fi, 2MP rear camera, VGA front camera, and 1400 mAh battery.
