Intex has launched a new smartphone under its Aqua series, called the Aqua Sense 5.1. Priced at Rs 3,999, the smartphone is listed on the company’s official website. Right now there is no word on when the device will go on sale. The Aqua Sense 5.1 will be available in three colors – white, champagne and grey.

The Intex Aqua Sense 5.1 is another variant of the Aqua Sense 5.0, which was launched in August last year. While most of the specifications are very similar to the Aqua Sense 5.0, the new Intex smartphone has lower resolution display but a larger battery. The Aqua Sense 5.0 has 5-inch display with 540×960 pixels resolution whereas the Aqua Sense 5.1 has a 5-inch display with 480×854 pixels resolution. The Aqua Sense 5.0 and Sense 5.1 come with 2,000 mAh and 2,500 mAh battery respectively.

Intex Aqua Sense 5.1 specifications and features:

The smartphone comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor along with 512MB of RAM.

For photography, the smartphone comes with 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA camera on the front. Connectivity options include 3G, dual-SIM, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. It is powered by a 2,500 mAh battery.

The smartphone comes preloaded with apps such as OLX, Gujarat Lions and Matrabhasha among others.

At Rs 3,999, the Aqua Sense 5.1 will compete against the likes of Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus, Phicomm Clue 630 and Reliance’s VoLTE enabled LYF Flame 3 , Flame 4 and Flame 6 smartphones.
