Intex has launched its latest budget smartphone – Aqua Ring with Android Marshmallow at Rs 3,999. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon India.
Intex Aqua Ring sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The display on the Aqua Ring is protected by a Dragontrail Glass. Under the hood of Intex Aqua Ring, there is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6580A processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. Intex claims its Aqua Ring comes with augmented gaming and better multitasking experience.
“At Intex, our aim has always been to deliver state of the art technology at reasonable price to our consumers. The Marshmallow powered Aqua Ring is for the tech savvy user who wants style with substance. The phone is embedded with Dragontrail scratch-resistant glass at the front that gives the device a sturdy built with a pristine finish. We are also delighted to partner with Amazon who are bringing the device exclusively to our customers,” said Keshav Bansal, Director, Intex Technologies.
As far as camera is concerned, Intex Aqua Ring features a 5MP primary and a 5MP secondary camera. Intex Aqua Ring is backed by a 2,480mAh battery and comes in at 9.25mm thick. Like other Intex smartphones, the Aqua Ring also comes with support for 21 regional languages and several preloaded apps.
Intex had recently launched Aqua Fish smartphone, the first smartphone in India to run Sailfish OS. Intex Aqua Sailfish iks available on ebay.com at Rs 5,499.
