After launching the Aqua Sense 5.1 and Aqua View, Intex has launched yet another entry level smartphone in its Aqua series, called the Aqua Classic. The smartphone is priced at Rs 4,444. Right now there is no word on the availability of the smartphone.

Intex Aqua Classic specifications, features:

The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854) display resolution with Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. The smartphone is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Also on offer is 8GB of internal storage which is further expandable to 32GB using a microSD card.

On the photography front the Aqua Classic sports a 5-megapixel rear camera along with a VGA front camera. The device is powered by a 2,100mAh battery which the company claims is good enough to offers up to 6 hours of talktime along with a standby time of up to 210 hours. The Aqua Classic comes with other pre-loaded applications like, Matrabhasha, Clean Master, Hike Messenger, Mobikwik, Freecharge, Saavn and Opera Mini. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, 3G,Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Priced at Rs 4,444, the Intex Aqua Classic will take on a range of entry-level smartphones in India. Already there are many smartphones in the market that offer much better specifications and support 4G with VoLTE at a much lesser rate. The Aqua Classic will compete with the likes of Reliance Digital LYF Flame 6 , Phicomm Clue 630 and Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus .
