NEW DELHI: Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir has injured his right shoulder and is likely to miss the crucial IPL eliminator match against Mumbai Indians to be played at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday.
However, he is doubtful for the Indian cricket team's one-day tour of the West Indies next month.
An MRI scan on Tuesday has put a question mark on his availability.
Gambhir was injured during the last league match at the Eden Gardens.
He may require surgery, rehabilitation or rest, it is being learnt.
It is expected that Suresh Raina will lead India in the West Indies during the one-day tour.
