InFocus has launched a new smartphone in India, the InFocus M810, priced at Rs. 14,999. At its price, the highlight of the smartphone is its Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. It will be made available to buy on Amazon from Wednesday in a Gold colour variant.
The InFocus M810 at its price point takes on the Xiaomi Mi 4 16GB variant (which recently received a price cut), featuring the same processor and the same amount of built-in storage. However, it offers storage expandability via microSD card slot (up to 64GB) unlike the Mi 4, but also bears 2GB of RAM instead of the Mi 4's 3GB of RAM. It also bears a bigger 5.5-inch display compared to the Mi 4's 5-inch display.
The M810 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with the firm's own InLife UI skinned on top, and features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixel) display. It is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC SoC, coupled with 2GB of RAM.
The smartphone bears a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with a Sony Exmor R sensor, f/2.2 lens, and true-tone LED flash, apart from a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE (no support for India's TDD-LTE 2300MHz Band 40), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, FM radio, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB with OTG, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 153.7x76.2x6.99mm, and weighs 156 grams. It is powered by a 2600mAh battery. It features an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, and magnetometer.
