InFocus launched the Bingo 50 earlier this year, which was a Snapdeal exclusive with a price tag of Rs 7,499. InFocus has now quietly added another smartphone to its ‘Bingo’ series, called Bingo 50+. As the name suggests, the Bingo 50+ is an upgraded version of Bingo 50 featuring a better display, processor and camera. The smartphone is listed on company’s official website, but there is no word on the pricing or availability of the smartphone yet. When the smartphone goes on sale, one will be able to choose from silver and gold color variants.

In addition to the specifications, one of the major changes on the Bingo 50+ is a full-metal body, which was missing from the previous model. This isn’t the first budget smartphone from InFocus to flaunt a full-metal body. The likes of the M680, M808 and M812, priced between Rs 8,000 and Rs 14,000, also come with a full-metal body. The Bingo 50+ also comes with 4G with VoLTE support, which we are seeing on an increasing number of budget smartphones and also makes it future-proof. The smartphone also runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out-of-the-box, wrapped under InFocus’ InLife UI 2.0

InFocus Bingo 50+ Specifications

The smartphone flaunts a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It also offers 16GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot for further expansion up to 64GB. On the photography front, it features a 13-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Other features include HDR and full-HD video recording. The smartphone is equipped with a 2,600mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to offer standby time of 480 hours and talk time of up to 12 hours. On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports options such as VoLTE, LTE, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

While InFocus hasn’t revealed the price of its new smartphone, based on the specs and features alone, the Bingo 50+ could face competition from the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (16GB), and the LeEco Le 1s to name a few.

The Redmi Note 3 too features a unibody metal design and VoLTE support. The smartphone also comes with features like 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 650 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage, a 4,050mAh battery, and a combination of 16-megapixel, and 5-megapixel selfie cameras. The smartphone is priced at Rs 9,999.

The LeEco Le 1s , on the other hand, is priced at Rs 8,999 and it too flaunts a unibody metal design. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB storage, 3,000mAh battery, USB Type-C port and a combination of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras.
