TAIPEI: Indian boxers continued to
pack a punch at the AIBA Women's
Junior World Championships with
three more assuring themselves of
medals by advancing to the
semifinals here on Wednesday.
Savita (50 kg), Mandeep Sandhu (52
kg), Sakshi (54 kg) and entered the
last-four stage on a good day for the
Indians.
Soniya (48 kg) and Niharika Gonnella
(70 kg) had advanced to the semis
on Tuesday and Wednesday's results
took the Indian presence in the
semis to five.
