India Post marked undelivered item as Delivered

Week ago, I applied for new SBI debit card. 4 days ago, I got a message mentioning Speed post tracking no. Tracking since then and to my surprise, it's showing 'Delivered to me (name)' yesterday. 24 hours later, I'm yet to receive (ofcourse my family member too). When asked the lady in the counter of Post office, she replied: Come tomorrow at 10 and ask the postman. When I repeatedly asked, how can you mark delivered w/o delivering, she replied: The single postman have to deliver more than 300 letters daily, so he had to do this. I left speechless.
 
SLA Pressures. You may lodge a formal complaint to the PostMaster at your local branch. Not sure it will help, but worth raising your point against such carelessness.

India post is regularly doing these kind of mess :(
They missed golden chance to make fortune out of booming e-commerce with their connectivity to even remote areas.

Why they should no this as because thee is no pay cut for less letter delivering.
 
After 3 days of unsuccessful wait, collected my parcel from Post office. They gave me without verifying.

No sign, no ID proof, nothing. That's ridiculous! I could take them on, But it was very crowded mostly with aged persons standing in queue. So thought, it's better not to lengthen their wait.

That's odd, here the postal delivery guy always takes our sign after deliver
