Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM), the govt's UPI-based payment app, has seen a resurgence, nearly doubling its monthly transactions to 70 million in June after a period of stagnation. This growth is attributed to a user-interface revamp, increased marketing spend by NPCI, and targeted incentives.

At the end of the day all that matters to the consumer is which platform gives the highest cashback on UPI transactions with a decent user interface where transactions don't fail. Whichever app offers the best combo of this is the one that gains Market share.

True and what I've observed is bhim is not giving cash back for everyone. I don't get cashback despite more transactions in ₹thousands but my mom gets even if she transacts in ₹hundreds. Same case with my friend his dad gets but he doesn't. Can't understand this logic though. 😁😪
