NEW DELHI: Idea Cellular has come up with yet another prepaid pack to counter competition from Reliance Jio. The telco will now be offering 70 GB of data and unlimited calls at Rs 396 which will have a validity of 70 days and 1 GB data cap per day, according to various media reports.

The data pack is only limited to 3G speeds and the unlimited calling is restricted to only other Idea numbers. The calls made to the other network have a limit of 3000 minutes for the entire duration of the validity period. This is further capped at 300 minutes a day and 1200 minutes a week.

It is interesting to note that the telco has not been promoting its recharge pack via SMSs and the customers have to check on their own whether the offer is valid for their mobile number.
