The official song for the ICC World Twenty20 is reportedly set to outdo what Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull and Claudia Leitte come up with for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, with its inspirational lyrics and ‘bombastic rocking’ tunes.

The song, called ‘Char Chokka Hoi Hoi’-which roughly translates into ‘Fours, Sixes, Fun and Games’- has been composed by renowned Bangladeshi singer Fuad Al Muktadir and sung in a mixture of Bangla and English by an ensemble of young vocalists.

According to News.com.au, with inspirational lyrics like ’16 cricket nations, how exciting’ and ‘bombastic rocking’, along with an energetic beat and fast-paced tempo, the song captures the energy of the country’s fanatical cricket fans.

The report mentioned that the video clip features an accompanying dance aiming to outdo the ‘Waka Waka’ dance made famous by Shakira at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

The latest dance is already going viral in the sub-continent after the International Cricket Council (ICC) set a challenge to local universities to perform it in a public space in three of the tournament’s host cities, ‘with the aim of making it the most popular song among the youth in the country’, the report added.
