The ICC will soon empower TV umpires to take a call on front foot no-balls on a trial basis, the world body’s General Manager (Cricket Operations) Geoff Allardice said. The ICC will test the new system in a few indentified limited-overs series over the next six months and if the experiment pans out to be a success, on-field umpires could lose the right to call no-balls for overstepping in future.

ICC is over dependent on technology these days. LBW and caught behind we have DRS, stumping and run-out we have tv umpire, boundary line catches/saves we have tv umpire. LED stumps, wired players (heart rate monitor, mic), stump mic/camera, snicko, Hawkeye, ball tracker, hotspot, spider cam, umpire cam, slo-mo, ball speed and spin tracker, bat speed, etc. Don't be surprised if we see 2 drones replacing the on field umpires, very soon. 🤷

It will be hilarious to watch drone empires gets striked by frustrated players. 😂
