For speed put Jio sim in mobile and check yourself.

Regarding performance in range WiFi can penetrate 1 floor or 2 wall. Battery is decent

Get Airtel's 4G hotspot instead. At first it is from Huawei. You can unlock it (will void warranty though) and use other non Airtel sim card in it. And coming to device it's horrible for me at the moment. In mobile with Jio sim in it a movie on Prime Video downloads within 5-6 minutes. On hotspot it takes atleast 30 minutes.

Cant put the Jio sim in mobile and test coz I am using a 2G only handset.
Good to know that the battery is decent.
One question what will be the default WiFi password ?
Will I be able to change the WiFi password ?

Speed vary widely from place to place and speed can also vary time to time at a constant place.

For example you will find people getting 100 Mbps Max on Jio at his place but i get max 17 Mbps on Jio whereas with Voda i got max 60 Mbps and on airtel i got max 24 Mbps. But that Max speed is also not fixed as currently i am getting 1 Mbps only from Jio and sometime it goes as low as 100 Kbps(yes Kilo not Mega). Same thing with all 4G operators including airtel.

So the best way is to check speed which operator is giving max speed at your place and then buy device.

Default Wifi password will be printed on device and yes you can change if you like :hello:

I get mostly over 30 Mbps on mobile but hardly get 5-6 Mbps on JioFi. So hardware is not good or 4G is locked in slow bands.
