Chinese phone maker Huawei has sent out official invites for an event that will take place in London on April 15 wherein the company is expected to announce a high-end device. Two teaser posters have been released, out of which one says, “It’s coming” with Huawei’s logo on it. The other teaser indicates the possibility of the successor to the Huawei Ascend P7, the highly anticipated Ascend P8.

According to a report by PhoneArena, the device could feature a 5.2-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It will have a pixel density of 424ppi. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by a 64-bit octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 930 processor paired with 3GB RAM. It will run Android 5.0 Lollipop and come with an internal storage at 32GB. The device is also rumoured to be equipped with a 13MP rear camera which includes Optical Image Stablisation (OIS) along with a 5MP front facing camera. A 2600mAh battery will complete the package.

The report also mentioned that the P8 could have a fingerprint scanner along with a Duo camera system, which will allow users to change the focal point and aperture of a picture after it is clicked.

Huawei has recently entered the smartwatch space by unveiling the Huawei Watch that is powered by Android Wear at Mobile World Congress 2015. Huawei claims that this is “the most vibrant Android Wear smartwatch in the world.” The company claims that the Watch is “made of more than 130 components” and that the crown, frame and hinge are built from high-quality and scratch resistant cold-forged stainless steel making it 40 percent harder.
