HTC ’s long-awaited flagship smartphone, the HTC 10 is finally official. Similar to earlier One-series smartphones, the HTC 10 also features a premium metal unibody design with diamond cut chamfered edges. With Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the HTC 10 also comes with new BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition speakers, Dolby Audio. Here’s everything you need to know about the new HTC 10.

The new HTC 10 also features a separated tweeter and woofer design along with a dedicated amplifier. With three microphones for noise cancellation, the smartphone also allows for Hi-Res stereo audio recording. For security, there is also a fingerprint scanner that is embedded within the home button. The smartphone will be available in carbon grey, glacier silver, topaz gold, and camellia red color options.

HTC 10 price :

The smartphone is priced at $699, which roughly translates to Rs 46,400. While HTC hasn’t revealed an exact launch date, it is expected to be available sometime next month. As of now, there is no word on the pricing and availability in India.

HTC 10 specifications and features:

It flaunts a 5.2-inch Super LCD 5 QHD (2560×1440 pixels) display. At the heart of the HTC 10 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. Also on offer are 32GB and 64GB storage options, along with a microSD card slot with support for up to 2TB.

For shutterbugs, the HTC 10 sports a brand new 12-megapixel (HTC UltraPixel 2 sensor) of aperture f/1.8 with optical image stabilization and laser auto-focus. The camera also supports 12x slow motion mode, 4K video recording, hyperlapse, pro-mode and more. Up front is a 5-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens of aperture f/1.8 and optical image stabilization.

In terms of connectivity, the HTC 10 features NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and USB Type-C port. Armed with a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, the HTC 10 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow wrapped under HTC Sense UI.
