In order to upgrade its present product line-up of enterprise infrastructure soultions, HP today announced several Converged Infrastructure solutions that it claims will improve enterprise agility by simplifying deployment and speeding IT delivery.

The company said that its Converged Infrastructure solutions would help an enterprise on an Instant-On Enterprise journey and turn technology assets into interoperable, shared pools of resources with a common management platform. The present product line-up include Converged Systems, Converged Storage architecture and portfolio, Converged Data Center and a HP Server Automation 9.1 software.

According to a research done on behalf of the company, it has been found that 95 percent of private and public sector executives consider agility important to the success of their organizations. Plus, more than two-thirds of C-suite executives believe that enterprise agility is driven by technology solutions.

“The new solutions announced today extend the benefits of convergence to deliver new levels of speed, simplicity and efficiency that enable clients to capitalize and anticipate change,” said Som Satsangi, Director, HP Enterprise Servers, Storage & Networking, HP India.

The company’s claims for a speedy deployment arise due to the packaging of a common architecture, management and security model across virtualization, cloud and dedicated application environments. This line-up includes a virtual, cloud and an application system.

To address the gap in storage, HP’s new Converged Storage architecture will help clients deploy and grow storage 41 percent faster while reducing administration time by up to 90 percent.

HP also announced a new storage solution offering called Storage Consulting Services that it claims will help clients to design and deploy a converged environment with optimum storage infrastructure, costs and data protection while getting ready for cloud computing.
