How to attach mobile number to Aadhaar card?

I have given my mobile number at the time of applying for Aadhaar card but they didn't add it so want to add my mobile number to it.

What's the process and Can I do it online?

1. Visit UIDAI Aadhar Self-Service.

2. A page with title “Aadhar Self Service Update Portal” will open.

3. Enter your 12 digit Aadhar number .

4. Now enter the Text Verification number (Captcha).

5. Then click on Send OTP .

6. Enter the OTP that was sent to your existing mobile number and click Login

7. After that, a new page asking for Details to be Updated will appear.

8. Under “ Select field(s) to update “, select “ Mobile Number: ”

9. Now enter your Mobile Number you want to Update and click Submit and Update

10. Verify and Proceed and Note down the URN you will see or take a print out. It will help you check the status of your Aadhar Update for Mobile Number.

After downloading the app then using "update status" option u can able to update the Mobile number , name , address & email of the appropriate aadhar card

Tried that already but to update you need to already have mobile number attached to it and mine is not...

Update - In case you have not registered your mobile number then you have to visit the nearest Enrolment Centre or send your Update request through Post for registering your mobile number because UIDAI has stopped facility to add mobile online.

After sending the application, you have to wait for some time. Once the mobile number is added to your Aadhar card, you will able to receive a confirmation message from the official on your mobile number.

go to nearest Addhar allotment centre with your Adhaar Card.
Submit a form.
they will add the mobile number Within 1Wk.

they will confirm that the person is really you by biometric test (Fingerprint scan)
