Hockey India Announces Senior Women Hockey Team For Commonwealth Games 2014
Ritu Rani named the Captain while Deepika will be the Vice-Captain of the Team
New Delhi: Hockey India today announced its Senior Women Hockey team for the forthcoming Commonwealth Games which are scheduled to take place at Glasgow (Scotland) from 23 July to 3 August 2014.
The team of 16 players were selected by Hockey India selectors Mr. B P Govinda, Mr. Harbinder Singh, Ms. Surinder Kaur along with Director High Performance Mr. Roelant Oltmans, Chief Coach Mr. Neil Hawgood and Scientific Advisor Mr. Matthew Tredrea during the selection trials conducted at NSNIS Patiala on 28-29 June 2014.
