Speaking to reporters here, Suresh S Kumar, Chief Operating Officer, TN Circle, SSTL, said with the roll out, MTS had expanded its high speed data footprint to over 140 towns in Tamil Nadu.

Neyveli, Sathyamangalam, Tindivanam, Villuppuram, Rasipuram, Pattukottai, Tenkasi, Udumalpet, Oddanchatram, Periyakulam, Sivaganga, Kallakurichi, Virudhachalam, Gobi, Sankarankoil, Mayiladutharai are among the towns, where the service has been launched.

“As part of our endeavour to expand our high speed data network, we are happy to launch MBlaze in 37 new towns. This will enable MTS data customers to experience state of the art high speed data services including Live TV and games on demand,” he said.

“Customers buying new MBlaze connection need to pay just `999 to get an MBlaze dongle along with 10 GB data usage with 30 days validity. Customers can also carry forward their unused data balance on subsequent recharges.”

Data customers also have access to over 100 Live TV channels including Jaya, Raj, Makkal, Sun and Star Vijay.

Informing that his company already has 1,75,000 data customers in TN, Suresh hoped that the expansion would bring more and more customers to its fold.
