Hero Indian Super League, to be broadcast LIVE in Tamil on Jaya Max

Football fans in Tamil Nadu will be able to enjoy all the action and excitement of the sport in their preferred language, Tamil, on Jaya Max.

The league will have a multi lingual feed to help football take root across the country. Hero Indian Super League will be broadcast in five languages- Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali along with English and Hindi, across eight channels and on Star’s digital platform- hotstar.

The league action will be brought alive by a world class talent team featuring renowned global football experts like Paul Masefield, Don Hutchinson, John Dykes, Ashley Westwood and Mel McLaughlin along with our football presenter, Seema Jaswal.

For the Tamil feed, K V Sathyanarayanan, Seshadri Srinivasan, C M Ranjith and Vijaya Karthikeyan will be the experts on Jaya Max.:tup

Chennai : Star India’s Star Sports that owns the Broadcasting rights of Hero Indian Super League 2015 has roped in Jaya Max to telecast the Tamil feed of Hero ISL 2015.

Star Sports has aired the inaugural season of in five languages and it was hoping to expand the regional language feed. Similar to the previous season, the Malayalam and Kannada feed of Hero ISL 2015 will be aired in Asianet Movies and Suvarna Plus channels respectively.

Star Sports could not provide Tamil and Telugu feed last year as they didn’t have secondary channels to schedule . However, by virtue of Star India and Maa TV deal, they will be able to carry the Telugu feed this year onwards in Maa Movies.

But, as far as Tamil language is concerned, Star India is yet to secure its license for a secondary channel for Tamil Nadu matket and it can’t afford to disturb the prime time programming line-up of its primary GEC Vijay TV. Hence, it seems Star Sports has struck a deal with Jaya Max, the Secondary channel owned by Jaya TV.

Star India has also dedicated Star Sports 2 and Star Sports 2 HD to provide the coverage of Indian Super League 2015 in English while Star Sports 3, Star Gold and Star UTSAV will broadcast in Hindi, and Jalsha Movies in Bengali.

Meanwhile, Actor Dhanush has been brought on board as the Tamil Nadu brand ambassador for Hero Indian Super League Season 2 (ISL 2015), Dhanush is an ardent fan of football.

Representing the city franchise, Chennaiyin FC, Dhanush will be seen attired in his team colours of Chennaiyin FC during the domestic football league. Chennaiyin FC is owned by Bollywood actor Abishek Bachchan, Vita Dani and cricketer MS Dhoni.

Speaking on the occasion, Dhanush was quoted as saying that the opening season of the Hero Indian Super League revolutionized Indian football and brought quality football action for millions of fans across the country. With the league promising to be more competitive this year, Dhanush said he was super excited to be a part of the league and promote the sport amongst all fellow fans in our own language. ‘Watch out Machas, the Hero Indian Super League is back,’ quipped Dhanush in his own style.

Defending Champions Atletico de Kolkata will take on Chennaiyin FC on 3rd October, Saturday at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on the inaugural clash of Hero ISL 2015.

USA Viewers: Fox Sports has acquired the exclusive rights to show Indian Super League in USA for the season 2015.

Live Broadcast in Australia: Fox Sports Australia will bring the second edition for the Australian viewers.

TV Broadcast in UK / Europe / Africa: Star Gold will show ISL in UK, Europe and Africa

Tv Coverage in Canada: While, in Canada CBN, ATN Cricket Plus, ATN Punjabi Plus, ATN Bangla will provide the coverage.

MiddleEast and North Africa: OSN will telecast the Indian Super in the Middle East and North Africa.

Telecast in South-East Asia and Continental Europe: Eurosport will broadcast ISL in South-East Asia and in Continental European Territories.

TV Channel in Bangladesh: Channel 9 will broadcast ISL 2015 in Bangladesh.
