Google has finally introduced a handy new feature for Google Keep that will now allow you to share your notes and to-do lists with friends and family.
The functionality is pretty simple and as Google puts it, reminds us of the humble post-it notes that people leave on fridge doors to remind loved ones about their daily task lists.
Google Keep obviously achieves that virtually. If you were thinking that such a feature is available on Evernote, well, Evernote is for power users while Keep simply keeps things simple and short.
So with the added note sharing
functionality it does make the note taking feature pretty handy. Similar to Google Drive, you will also know when the note was last updated as well.
Search has also improved by a big margin and Keep now makes it easier to filter your notes not only by colour, but also other attributes such as whether they’re shared, have a reminder, are lists, or have an image or audio.
The update that brings about this functionality is still rolling out gradually so it may be a while until you see the new Material Design icon along with the improved theme appear.
If you managed to get the new update and cannot see the cool new share feature don’t fret as it is “rolling out gradually” (as well).
Else you can head to keep.google.com and activate it (by sharing a note) from there; after which it will begin appearing on your phone.
