However, reports suggest that Info Edge's flagship apps Naukri.com and 99acres were delisted by Google, in addition to BharatMatrimony, and Shaadi.com. Other apps that have been taken down include online dating apps Truly Madly and QuackQuack, vernacular video-streaming platform Stage, Balaji Telefilms’ Altt, and audio streaming and podcast app Kuku FM.

They can simply remove the option to purchase subscription through the Android app and ask the user to login from browser and subscribe or set up auto pay one time and then login through the app and use the service. Then no commission needs to be paid to Google

#Lagaan. :hehe:

Jokes aside. Google is fool here. They can remove the entire Google Play Billing system and push Google Pay with 5 per cent commission. I don't even think they earn much by this billing system. This way more people would be encouraged to make in-app purchases and can easily gets refunds. One goes to rival platforms Paytm and Amazon for offers on Google Play Balanr.

99 Acres and Naukri.com App is still available on Google Play Store.
