Google Now already throws up cards telling you about your flight information from your inbox. But according to an image leak from Android Police, Google has decided to integrate Gmail inbox and Google Calender. Google has now floated a new feature with its Google Now function which pulls out information like dates from your Gmail account. This information is then suggested to be added in your calendar.
This service is being tested with some users. It will play a key role in remembering meetings, birthdays, pick ups, drops or even dates. All thanks to the introduction of the new add-on feature for Google Now which will pull out information from your Gmail to create a card, asking if the event needs to be added to the calendar on your smartphone. The feature also allows the user to choose whether they want this function in the “everything else” section of Google Now’s setting.
Google Now is known to do similar tasks of adding and reminding valuable information like flight details from confirmation messages. We cannot tell you more about the feature as the update is still not available to everyone yet, but looks like Google wants you to keep tabs on inferred appointments which you may miss out on.
