Coming in my redmi note 3 also, but the widget is not coming. Widget is still Google app, but long pressing home button goes to assistant.

Please help me with the widget, is tgere a way to activate the widget?

There's no specific widget for Assistant even on my S7 edge!

But in your snap you are having it on the top left of your screen. But I am only getting that old white google now search bar instead of the 'G' you're getting.

It's a pixel launcher. Download pixel launcher you will also get G bar.

I'm using Nova launcher bro! We can customize how the search bar should look like!

Thanks bros for clearing the confusion. I thought this was the default widget for google assistant.
