Good News: Free Wi-Fi service in Delhi’s Connaught Place launched by Najeeb Jung

This is certainly going to be a great news to begin the work with. If you are one of those people who frequent New Delhi’s Connaught Place it is going to be sweet music to your ears.

From today onwards you are going to get free Wi-Fi service in Downtown Connaught Place area where most government offices, corporate offices and big shopping plazas are concentrated. Most people in the biggest metro city in the nation have to visit the area frequently for one reason or the other.

The New Delhi Municipal Corporation has launched the service in association with Tata Teleservices Limited.

The free wi-fi service is going to be available in the locality spread over a large area of around 4.5 sq. kilometer. Delhi’s top government executive Najeeb Jung, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is going to inaugurate the service.

The project was delayed for months. But it is good news that it is being launched now.
