Gmail adds support for Gboard GIF

Several apps have been adding the Gboard GIF support lately including WhatsApp. Now Gmail joins the list. With the latest update, you can now use the gif feature on the Gboard when composing emails in Gmail app.

You can download the app version 7.3.13.151698241 from apkmirror while it's gradually rolling out on play store.
