Last year Gionee had launched the F103 smartphone aimed at fashion enthusiasts. The company has now launched an upgraded version of the smartphone, the F103 Pro. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with VoLTE support. It is priced at Rs 11,999 and is available via the company’s website. The Gionee F103 Pro comes in gold, gray and white color options.

One of the highlights of the smartphone is its form factor. The smartphone comes with metal unibody and is 8.5mm slim. It also has a 2.5D curved edge display. The smartphone runs Amigo 3.1 UI based on Android Marshmallow. The IU includes a system manager with features such as cache cleaner, power manager, traffic monitor and battery saver eco mode. It also includes a feature called mood card to choose from a range of wallpapers, to reflect your mode. This feature is similar to wallpaper carousal that we’ve seen in Xiaomi’s MIUI 8.

Gionee F103 Pro specifications, features:

Sporting a 5-inch IPS HD display, the smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. With 16GB onboard storage (9GB user accessible), a memory card slot with support for up to 128GB is also present.

In the camera department, Gionee F103 Pro is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. Armed with a 2,400mAh battery, connectivity options on the smartphone include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, GPS and Wi-Fi.

At its price point, Gionee F103 Pro will go head on with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (32GB) and LeEco Le 2. Both Redmi Note 2 and Le 2 feature a 5.5-inch full HD display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage. While the Redmi Note 3 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor and comes with a 4,050mAh battery, the LeEco Le 2 is powered by MediaTek’s Helio X20 deca-core processor, and features 16-megapixel rear camera with 4K video recording support. Looking at the specs, the Redmi Note 3 and Le 2 offer more features and are equipped with better hard.
