After Gionee released the Elife E7 smartphone, the company is now ready with its next device, the Elife E8. A company spokesperson tells us that the smartphone is slated for a global launch on June 10 at an event held in Beijing, China. It is expected to enter the Indian marklet in July.

The new smartphone has also got certified by TENAA earlier this month which shed some light on its specifications.

One of the biggest highlights of the Elife E8 is said to be its 23MP rear camera, which will be able to produce 100MP images. Apart from the powerful rear camera, the device will sport an 8MP selfie camera. Mobipicker explains that the company has released an image mentioning the Lossless Zoom on the upcoming phone. The report further explains that a image in the Lossless Zoom is magnified to a certain extent that the loss of image quality due to zoom is hardly seen.

In terms of design, the alleged Elife E8 will sport a metal frame with buttons on the right. The volume rockers will be placed towards the right, above the button and also brings back the camera shutter button, which is rarely seen on smartphones these days. The device is most likely to have a fingerprint sensor as well.

In other rumoured features, the Elife E8 will feature a 4.6-inch quad HD AMOLED display which offers a 2560 x 1440 ppi resolution. It will be powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor paired with a 3GB RAM. In terms of memory, the device will have an internal storage of 32GB which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

The device will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box with the company’s Amigo 3.0 custom UI skin on top. It is also said that it will be powered by a 3520mAh battery and support4G LTE networks. This handset will measure 164 x 82.3 x 9.6mm and weight 207 grams.
