Airtel switched off B1 in select sectors/sites, including the antenna serving my location. I'm not sure what they’re up to.

Lol. They are already under utilising B1/40 in my place. Better remove B40 permanently and utilize the B1 fully by enabling B3+1 CA.

My site serving sector is turned ON now, other sites few sectors turned OFF now. B1 SINR & RSRQ is excellent now due to other sites OFF. Seems they're testing something or making preparations for B1 to n1 refarm ? B1 speeds slightly better due to less interference.

They switched off B40 as well in some sites/sectors. Hope after this trial they put mild tilt on all sites to improve the signal quality.

After many months seeing this kind of speed in B40C in my place due to low interference.

Maybe power saving

These guys now started doing large scale band shutdown in daytime itself for power saving. Yesterday evening B1 was up and from today morning also in the same pattern they switched OFF B1
