Gautam Gambhir is all set to return to India ranks after a shoulder injury kept him out of the ongoing tour of the West Indies while speculation suggests that Virat Kohli can end up missing the Test boat.

Virender Sehwag too may not be among the names to be announced for this month's four-Test series in England. Sehwag is not ruled out yet and he may be added as the 17th member and is expected to be 100 per cent fit after the first Test at Lord's (July 21-25). It however, may also be recalled that Sehwag did not get picked for the 2007 tour of England.

The selectors will meet in Chennai on Saturday to pick the squad with Virat Kohli expected to be kept out of the Tests. and it is learnt that Parthiv Patel will be included in the squad as the second wicketkeeper and an opening batsman option. Yuvraj Singh will return to the Test team after a wondrous performance in the World Cup. Yuvraj, like Sehwag, Gambhir and Sachin Tendulkar is not with his mates in the West Indies.

Skipper Dhoni is expected to support the selection of left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha, but leg-spinner Amit Mishra may end up getting the nod.

The likely squad: MS Dhoni (captain), Gautam Gambhir, Murali Vijay, Parthiv Patel, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Amit Mishra, Ishant Sharma, Zaheer Khan, S Sreesanth, Munaf Patel and Praveen Kumar.
